Colorful Hong Kong - My real Home-Coming!

After 2 years and 3 months, I finally have the chance to go back to my home sweet home -- Hong Kong. It's so good to be back to a place where I know everything so well, the streets, the buildings, the language, the stores, the transportations... And the most importantly, I couldn't even describe how nice it feels to be around people that know you for so long again. I guess this is the feeling of BACK HOME

I miss Hong Kong even more after I go back that week.....

OK, here is some of the moments I had during the week I spent in my beloved homeland. Let's start with people first...

Left: I arrived in Hong Kong 4pm Saturday and I went out with my engineering classmates 7:30pm the same day. I just couldn't wait! After the dinner we went to a Bar to watch a soccer game. After the game, some of us went to one's place and chat until the next morning. I mean 8 am the next day. Jet lag? what jet lag? I don't even have the time for jet lag.

Cast: Here after the hot pot dinner, we have Janet, Mantin, 9man (Marcus), Pedy, Sam, Amy, Mike, Johnny, Albert, Sammy and Alex.

Right: Here the 5 of us, just finished a very big Japanese dinner somewhere, moved to a winery restaurant for our second part of the night. Happy happy happy.

Cast: Sexy OL Lina, Lovely PR Helena, Happy Pedy, Breath-taking Dentist Wei-Lam, and Irresistible scholar Maggie.

Alright, stay calm guys! We have a lot of girls over here......

Left: Another Hot Pot dinner with Girls from my lovely 15/F of RC (the Dorm I stayed for my 3 years college in HKU).  Look, we are all working young ladies now. Remember those days we were running around the hallway, fighting to loosen one's.... oops I guess that's enough. =P

Cast (Left to Right - Back row): Mayer, Chun, Joy, Bonnie, Vivian, Fiona, Frances, Angela; (Front row) Mavise, Winkie, Kelly, Pedy, Bryony.

Right: Here are some of the NEW girls from the same floor. They are still living there now. Seize the days, girls! Those would be one of the best times in life. Here we are having our dinner at "Red Ant" before heading to the movie "8 women".

Cast: Mary, Kobe, Otter, Abby, Pedy, Amanda, Joanna. (Hope I did it right... =P)

Left: Tea time Karaoke with my friend Carrie. She's just got back from UK and got her Masters in Architecture. Brilliant Girl! I can see her designing part of the new Disneyland in Hong Kong very soon. Can you tell we are in a Karaoke Box by the way?

Right: Here is my Best Friend Eva, who works in the TV channel as a research writer now. She is about the change her job in December. Very busy! Yea... we were in the airport before I left Hong Kong again. I had a 15-hour flight to catch.

The following pictures are those which made me feel like I'm a tourist.....

Left: Here's the upper deck of a bus in Hong Kong now. Look at all the TVs over there. Something that really amazed me when I first saw it.

Right: This is the 88-storey (85?) Bank of China Tower from the very bottom.  Well, I really have no clue why I took this one. I just felt like taking it when I walked past there. It's one of the landmarks in the Hong Kong skyline.

Left: Here we come to the subway. Our subway in Hong Kong is called MTR (Mass Transit Railway). This thing over here, New to me! Using your Octopus (the rechargeable card you have for all kind of transportations and more), thru this thing, you can pay bills, send emails, buy movie tickets, make phone calls, surf the internet, download new hit songs for your cell phone.... Interesting, isn't it?

Right: Inside the subway train, there they display new headlines, outside temperature, and a lot of other information... of course, advertisement too. Look at the people, that's what I would do riding MTR - Talking on the phone, yawning, taking a nap, looking around, reading books...
